Deputy Mayor of Pontypridd Town Council for the municipal year 2021-22

Bio

I was born and raised in Pontypridd and have lived in Glyncoch since the age of 7. I have been married for 48 years and have three grown up daughters and 7 grandchildren.

I retired in 2019 and now enjoy my time gardening and caring for my wife who has dementia and suffered a stroke in December 2021. I am a keen gardener and love to help with my local community gardening groups, where we plant flowers around the community. I am the Chair of Glyncoch Tenants and Residence Association and a Director and Secretary of Glyncoch Regeneration. I am a Governor at Cefn Primary School and Craig Yr Hesg Primary School.

I am looking forward to putting something back into the community.
