Representing the Graig Ward

Bio:

I have spent most of my life living in Pontypridd apart from a short spell away in Aberystwyth University and as a volunteer with children in Sri Lanka. I have three girls and now live with two of them, and my partner, cats and dog.

For the past 22 years I have been employed in the third sector with organisations working to improve the lives of children and young people. They include Menter Iaith RhCT, Children in Wales and Mudiad Meithrin. I am passionate about children's rights and human rights, which is why I got involved with politics. I am a Trustee for Rhondda Ward Old Age Welfare Association (Hopkinstown Hall) and Cylch Meithrin Evan James.

My interests include sewing, bead craft, reading, hill and coast walking, camping and discovering prehistoric sites.
