Bio

I have lived in Pontypridd since 2018, prior to moving here I lived in Cardiff, Newport, Torfaen, Monmouthshire and the Middle East.

I was a teacher for nearly 30 years, prior to lockdown, working in mainstream and home education settings with pupils from 3-19. I have 2 adult children, one of who has moved to Pontypridd a year ago.

I am the Co-Director (with my partner Andrew Thomas) of an educational event company bringing reconnecting children and their families to nature for physical and mental well-being.

I am passionate about Nature-based learning, social justice, creativity through science and the arts and the power of the community.
