Mill Street Turning Circle – space for 300 seated

We are delighted for the first time to be showing a film at the Christmas Switching On event  “The Polar Express” which will be shown on a huge 35ft x 18ft mobile screen.

This is a FREE show and will be on a first come basis, BRING YOUR OWN SEATING, LIMITED TO 300 SEATS due to space and licence.

Gates will open at 3.30pm in time for the film to start at 4.15pm so come early to avoid disappointment.

Come along and be entertained by gtfm from 2pm along with local choirs, artists and of course a very special guest!

5.00pm – Daniel – the winner of the Kid’s Voice

5.45pm – Christmas tree lights switched on by the Christmas card winners and guests

5.50pm – Fantastic Pyrotechnic display to end the night

Lost Children

First Aid Facilities

Parking – There are many Council run long stay car parks in Pontypridd which are £1 to park all day on a Saturday

Photographs – will be taken at the event and used on social media and the website

A Mobiloo will be sited in Gas Lane Car Park in the Town Centre for the duration of the event

Temporary Road Closure

A temporary road closure is in place between 9.00am – 8.00pm.

The roads are affected are Taff Street from the junction with Crossbrook Street through to High Street, Gas Road, Temperance Place, Market Street, Church Street and Mill Street.

Alternative route – from the northern side of the closure proceed via Crossbrook Street, Sardis Road Gyratory and Sardis Road to the southern end of closure.
